HTC Pico seems to be an entry level smartphone, probably a version of the Sense UI model designed for lower-end devices. We have to tell you from the start that pictures are limited, but we can offer you detailed information about its technical features.
Let’s start by telling you that it holds a 3.2 inches HVGA display which displays a 320 x 480 pixels resolution. And let’s not forget about the ambient light sensor, digital compass, G-sensor and proximity sensor. If you want to know some software details, we have here all the details: a modest Single core – Qualcomm MSM7227 at 600 MHz, Android (2.3) OS and 384 MB RAM / 512 MB ROM. Although we don’t know the price number of its built-in memory, we know for sure that it includes a pre-installed micro SD card has 2 GB capacity, not to mention the fact that you can go up to 32 GB using the same method.
The phonebook has a capacity which depends on system memory and it includes some features such as: Multiple numbers per contact, Search by both first and last name, Picture ID, or Ring ID. As for the Connectivity chapter, you have all the basic elements that you might need: Bluetooth (Version: 3.0), Wi-Fi (802.11b, 802.11g, 802.11n), USB (Type: microUSB), 3.5mm headphones connector. The 5 megapixels camera with LED Flash is a pleasant surprise for all high-quality pictures lovers, also offering some interesting features: Auto focus, Face detection, or Geo tagging.
The Messaging option includes SMS or E-mail (IMAP, POP3); and let’s not forget about the Music Player which Supports MP3, the Video Playback option, as well as the Accelerometer, the Compass, GPS and A-GPS. As for its dimensions, it measures exactly 102.7 x 58.5 x 12.88 mm; but the weight remains a mystery. From what we know at this moment, this device supports only 900/2100MHz 3G bands, so is more than probably to be limited only to Europe and Asia; as for a release date or a price, we have no information yet but we’ll keep you updated.
