Sharp FX Plus, the successor to the popular Sharp FX messaging phone is still surrounded in mystery. Although we don’t know yet its price or the release date, we think that there are big chances to be free with a 2-year contract. and we take this conclusion based on the following specs.
Let’s start with its a HVGA multi touch screen which measures a total of 3.2 inches, but we can’t give you any details about its resolution or color number displayed. we can mention though the proximity sensor for auto turn-off, the accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate, predictive text input and that 4-row QWERTY keyboard. no less important is the single core CPU which runs at 600 MHz frequency and let’s not forget the fact that it runs on Android 2.2 and it includes some Google apps such as the Android Market, not to mention the other preloaded AT&T apps and services or the earSmart noise cancellation technology.
When it comes to the connectivity aspect, we have the well-known elements such as: Bluetooth module v2.1 with A2DP, A-GPS, 3G, a v2.0 micro USB, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and 3.5 mm stereo headset jack. As for the camera, Sharp FX Plus comes equipped with a 3 megapixels sensor with Auto focus and the ability to take pictures at a maximum pictures resolution of o less than 2048 x 1536 pixels. It also provides video recording capability, but you can imagine that you must forget all about a secondary front-facing camera.
And there more other things unknown, not only the price or the release date. We are talking about its dimensions, weight numbers, portability or the memory; but we think that you don’t have to worry about the internal storage capacity as long as you can easily extend it up to a maximum 32 GB thanks to the usual method: using a micro SD card. We expect other news very soon and we’ll keep you updated.
