The Fujitsu Toshiba IS12T, the world’s first Windows Phone 7.5 model will be available in Japan in September. At this point, we aren’t able to give you so many details about its final price or the exact release date; but what is more important, we have an entire list of specifications and we know that you’ll like what it has to offer.
Let’s start with the TFT capacitive multi touch screen which has a 3.7 inches diagonal and comes with a displaying capability of 16 million colors and a maximum resolution of no less than 800 x 480 pixels WVGA. Even more, there is the proximity sensor for auto turn-off, the accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate and predictive text input. The list can continue with the powerful Qualcomm MSM8655 processor which runs at 1 GHz frequency.
As for the camera aspect, we have a real surprise: on the front you can find a 3.7″ 480 x 800 pixel display and on the back is an high-resolution 13.2 megapixel camera. Among its main features we can mention: Auto Focus, Geo Tagging, LED flash, as well as a video recording capability of 720p (1280 x 720 pixels) HD, so you don’t have to worry about the quality of your pictures or videos any more. And the IS12T is dustproof and waterproof, just as many other Japanese models, but not so common if we think about Europe or America. We also have to tell you that there’s no micro SD card slot, because it comes with a total amount of 32 GB internal storage capacity, so you don’t really need it.
In the connectivity list we can find some usual elements such as: Bluetooth module version v2.1 with A2DP, Wi-FI 802.11 b/g/n A-GPS, v2.0 micro USB, and 3.5 mm stereo headphones connector. When it comes to the portability, we must tell you that it weighs no more than 113 grams and measures 118 x 59 x 11mm – some numbers pretty satisfying we must say. And let’s not forget about the 1460 mAh standard battery which is capable to provide up to 400 minutes of talk time or no less than 280 hours of standby time.
