Is Alienware M11x R3 performant?

We have new details about the new Alienware M11x R3 ultraportable gaming notebook. The model will be availabe starting this April at an undisclosed price. Some of its features are Intel’s latest Core i5 and i7 Sandy Bridge CPUs or a LED backlit 11.6-inch screen with a resolution of 1366 x 768, having a TrueLife glossy panel. Let’s not forget about the 8GB of RAM, a two megapixel webcam or a 8-Cell 63 WHr battery.
Storage options will be up to 750GB HDD with a 256GB SSD option also included. And Alienware M11x R3 has a slim, modern and unique design, with two different color options – red and black.

The model seems to be good in theory, but in practice it’s not powerful enough and does not have enough screen real estate – rumours said. They are not wong – we have to admit. So we are talking about a gaming notebook limited in performance, but probably the price is the most indicated factor for the final decision.
