Well known for their laptops, monitors or other hardware, Dell has recently announced its first smartphone: the Dell Mini 3i.
Although there were rumours that Dell had abandoned the project, it was recently officially released in China. Mainly a competitor for the well-known I-phone, the Dell Mini 3i comes without 3G support or Wi-Fi, but Dell representatives announce that an upgraded version, the Dell Mini 3iX, will be released in Brasil by the end of the year.
Even if it lacks these two important functions, it is equipped with a 3 megapixel camera, microSD slot or bluetooth and a touchscreen of 360×640 pixels, with about 256.000 colors.
All these being said, the only question is if the Mini 3i or Mini 3iX will succesfully outrun the competition or if it will just be a huge fail.
