HTC Desire C is a device prepared to arrive in the UK and we already know all the pricing details. So, it is going to be available for free if you accept a £15.50 per month agreement; or you can have it for £169.99 as a pay-as-you-go device.

Its details are limited at this moment. We know that HTC Desire C packs a 3.5-inch HVGA touchscreen having a resolution of only 320 x480 pixels – which seems so limited; and although it is official that it runs on Android 4.0 with HTC Sense 4, having a total internal storage of 4 GB, as well as 512 MB of RAM, its processor details are still a mystery.

HTC Desire C also comes equipped with a 5-megapixel camera or Beats Audio system. And its design is nothing that we haven’t seen before, but a specific HTC one and we simply like it. Various color options are mentioned at this moment: black, red, or white and the following dimensions: 107.2 x 60.6mm x 11.95mm with a weight of no more than 98 grams with battery.

This summer has many surprises when it comes to smartphones and LG Optimus 4X HD is just one of those models which has so many chances to capture the audience. This model is going to arrive no later than this June in Sweden, Great Britain, Poland, Germany or Italy.

At this moment an U.S. release is not official, the same as for Asia and Latin America, but we’ll come back with more details. LG Optimus 4X HD is equipped with a 4.7 inches HD-IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen which comes with a maximum resolution of no less than 720 x 1280 pixels and it is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core Tegra 3 processor with 4-PLUS-1 technology which runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

LG Optimus 4X HD is going to change your world in terms of images too. And that’s thanks to its 8 megapixels camera with features such as auto focus, geo-tagging, face and smile detection, LED Flash, back-illuminated sensor or 1080p HD video recording capability. As for video calls, the 1.3 megapixels front facing camera of this LG Optimus 4X HD is ready to make them possible.

HP EliteBook 8460p is a notebook which comes with a solid construction and a classy eye-catching design. But some might argue that it is a bit bulky and heavy for a 14-inch model – to be more specific it measures 1.3 by 13.3 by 9.1 inches (HWD) with a total weight of 5.4 pounds.

HP EliteBook 8460p packs a 2.5GHz Core i5-2520M processor and a TPM security chip, also including 4 GB of RAM. In terms of connectivity features we can find: a FireWire port, a DisplayPort, a Smart Card slot, microphone and headphone jacks, VGA and Ethernet ports, two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports a DVD±RW drive, ExpressCard slots.

And HP EliteBook 8460p is a good choice of battery – we have a 62Wh model which lasts up to 5 hours and 1 minute. The 14.0-inch display offers a maximum 1,366 by 768 resolution and you can also find 802.11n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. So its price of $1,113.66 is a fair one.

Here we have a well-built entry-level Android device known as Pantech Crossover. In the first place we must tell you that it runs on Android 2.2 Froyo operating system, so this might be considered as an obvious problem. The Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread OS update was finally released and it comes with major improvements: text suggestion and virtual keyboard, Video chat in GTalk, or support for voice input.

The Pantech Crossover is rather decent than amazing – we can find here a 3 megapixels camera with features such auto focus, digital zoom and video recording capability, but of course there is no secondary front facing camera. Under the hood you can find a single core processor at 600 MHz frequency.

The internal storage capacity Pantech Crossover is of no less than 512 MB, but you can actually extend it up to a 32 GB maximum using the micro SD card method. As for the 3.10 inches screen is the same, it comes with a maximum resolution of 320 x 480 pixels, also including multi-touch capability.

Sony Xperia SX is the lightest LTE phone that we’ve seen up to now. And its feature list is exactly what we are hoping for. Sony Xperia SX is powered by a Qualcom Snapdragon dual core processor at 1.5 GHz frequency which runs on Google Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.

Even more, we can find an Adreno 220 graphics processor too and 1 GB of RAM memory. Sony Xperia SX also packs a 3.70 inches LED backlit LCD capacitive touchscreen having a maximum resolution of 540 x 960 pixels and a total of 16 million colors. As for that 8 megapixels camera, it has various image editing tools such as: auto focus, digital zoom, geo tagging, face detection, smile detection, panorama, scenes, LED Flash, CMOS image sensor and 1080p HD video recording capability.

Unfortunately we know that is going to hit only Japan this summer, but there isn’t any other information about the rest of the world. And its exact release date is also unknown, the same as the price tag too, but we’ll certainly come back with more details about this Sony Xperia SX device.

Samsung Gusto 2 is a device which comes as a replacement of the original Gusto, but don’t get your hopes too high. Its features as well as its design are more than modest. There are a few chances to enjoy its tactile keypad with hot keys offering you a quick messaging; or that it offers enhanced Social Network Support for Easy Twitter or Facebook Access.

But that’s pretty much all which comes as a positive aspect for this Samsung Gusto 2 model. Its battery offers a standby time of up to 350 hours and a continuous usage time of up to 390 minutes. The 1.3 megapixel camera gives you the chance to capture special moments with family and friends, but the quality is far from our expectations.

Thanks to Picture Messaging and Bluetooth Wireless Technology, you can immediately share these photos. But bad things continue about Samsung Gusto 2: there is a low resolution display with no more than 128 x 160 pixels, a slow processor at 400 MHz, no microSD slot for storage expansion or no standard (3.5mm) headphones jack – as long as these are basic elements that we use all the time.

Here in these photos you can see the new Kyocera Hydro smartphone. At this point we don’t know any details about the release date or price tag; but until then let’s check some of its major technical details as long as these aspects are already available.

Let’s start by telling you about the fact that Kyocera Hydro is powered by a single core Snapdragon CPU at 1 GHz frequency, but we can also mention a graphics processor and no less than 512 MB of RAM memory. Kyocera Hydro runs on Google Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, something which doesn’t surprises us, but we are disappointed to find that video calls can’t be made because no front facing camera is installed on this device.

Its 3.5-inch display is just a basic one – we have an IPS LCD with a resolution of no more than 320 x 480 pixels. And let’s not leave aside the fact that Kyocera Hydro boasts a 3.2-megapixel camera, so you can take pictures, although there isn’t exactly the highest quality. What is more exciting Kyocera Hydro is a water-resistant device, so it might be perfect for your trips.

ASUS G53SX-A1 is a gaming laptop model which captures our interest thanks to some of its features. It is more than enough to tell you about the fact that under the hood you can find a quad-core Intel Core i7-2630QM clocked at 2.0GHz. Or that it features a 15.6 Inch Full HD LED backlit display with a maximum resolution of no less than 1920×1080 pixels.

But unfortunately there are plenty of negative aspects too when it comes to this ASUS G53SX-A1 model. Upgrading it is not as easy as you might first think. To be more specific it requires removing the keyboard and palm rest to access the hard drive and RAM. But that not the worst of its disadvantages. What do you say about the fact that ASUS G53SX-A1 is one of the largest 15.6-inch notebooks available on the market at this moment?

We are talking about the exact dimensions of 15.6″ x 11.42″ x 2.36″ with a total weight of 8.7 pounds, so it is actually larger than a usual 17.3-inch notebook model and much heavier in the same time. As for the connectivity options, ASUS G53SX-A1 comes with some surprises too, but not in the pleasant way: you won’t find eSATA, ExpressCard slot or DisplayPort either.

LeapFrog LeapPad Explorer is another model of tablet dedicated to your child, having both positive as well as negative aspects. But we must tell you that for a price of no more than $144.99 we tend to believe that the balance is in favor of its advantages.

There is no card slot, but LeapFrog LeapPad Explorer includes 2GB of memory, so it is more than enough for a child. Its dimensions are what we were expecting – only 1 x 5.1 x 7 inches with a total weight of 3 pounds. And the 5″color touch screen comes with a maximum resolution of no less than 480 by 272 pixels.

Your child will also love the built-in camera with video recorder, not to mention the 10 photo edit tools, the accelerometer allowing us to move the device in various directions when playing games, or even a countdown timer so you can take self-portraits. But it isn’t all about having fun. LeapFrog LeapPad Explorer also includes learning games in multiple areas such as: Mathematics, Reading and writing, Countries and cultures, Music, Geography, Social skills or Physical science.
