ASUS Eee Pad Transformer is a 10.1in tablets that comes with its own netbook-style keyboard dock for a price of $150, so there is no wonder that it makes us think about the Acer Iconia Tab W500 model. When it comes to the screen, we must tell you that it is a brighter IPS panel, which is able to display a maximum resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, not to mention the total amount of 16 million colors. And it is powered by a speedy Nvidia Tegra 2 dual-core CPU at 1 GHz frequency, offering you the highest level of performance.

From the cameras point of view, the tablet is equipped with a 5-megapixel camera on the rear, including features such as LED flash or Auto Focus or a maximum resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels, offering you sharp images with very good colors. And let’s not forget that there is a 1.3 megapixels secondary camera too, which has a maximum resolution of no less than 1280 x 1024 pixels. As OS we can find in this case Android 3.0 Honeycomb, offering a quality Internet experience, but unfortunately Flash support (for 10.2) is still in beta mode. And we have, as always, some features such as Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, a mini HDMI output, 1080p HD video playback, Micro HDMI Connector SD / SDHC card reader, a USB sync cable and charger.

The design it’s different than the standard black plastic look as long as it has a dark gray/metallic color, not to mention the advantage of the portability aspect. Because this ASUS Eee Pad Transformer tablet measures 6.9 by 10.7 by 0.6 inches (HWD) and weights only 1.5 pound. And if you want to know the price, it is no less than $399 for the 16GB model or $499 for the 32GB version. Maybe a little bit too much for your budget, but when it comes to performance and speed we shouldn’t have any limits.
